Changing the name should not imply changing the filename.
Changing the filename may (should?) imply changing the name.

The name and filename can be set the same by default with the option for
the user to make them different. KDE 1.x behaviour.

I don't care what happens in that case.

The same. 

And for those who insist that konqueror should reflect 1:1 the contents
of their harddisk we can have an option which makes konqy show real
filenames instead of translated Names.

I really think an option is needed here because the average user is
IMO not very interested in filenames. People in the power user category
however tend to dislike this kind of "Magic" and want to see real files.
(Possibly because they started to use Unix because of these cryptic
commands in the first place)

Make it an option and everyone is happy.
