I am sending this reply without getting yours :-| I do not get any
messages from kde-core-devel anymore.
I read the answers on the mailing list archives.

Currently, the API switch affects korganizer. I am in contact with
Stefan Taferner to incorporate kab with kmail after the API switch.
Will be done the next days.
