I think I might have sussed this out: For me it seems to be occuring
due to an old version of qimgio being linked. The QRGB changes are
binary incompatable and the r<->b swtich is the result. I wanted to
check this by reinstalling qimgio, but when I looked at my rsync'd
qt sources I found that the qimgio code seems to be broken - there
are loads of extra files in there.
