Because it was too late when I realized that this feature is lacking ;-)

The problem is that stupid (I think now) function setSpinBoxSize,
which builds the layout based on the width of the SpinBox. when there's a
Label in front of it, the vertical alignment would be screwed up. 

I wanted to kill the SpinBoxSize() function and switch to QBoxLayout (which
makes it just so much easier), but I didn't have time to do it before the
freeze and probably now I'm not allowed to do that any more, even if I 
would port all affected apps, right?
