Yes, it needs some update to the recent changes (different
transparency, etc) , but besides that I will bring it to 1.0 when KDE
reaches 2.0 :-)

I think right now it fits in the category of applications which are in
kdeutils, however, that package is a bit of mess. It contains:

1. Essential user utilities like calc and ark and floppy.
2. Developer-only tools like hexedit and iconpackager (the last probably
never used extensively)
3. Demos like treebrowser
4. Administration tools like kpm, ktimemon etc.

As release time approaches, maybe we can make some reorganization by
moving the developer tools to kdesdk, sysadmin tools to kdeadmin (even if
they don't require root password) and maybe creating a knostalgy package,
in which we move those applications like karm which are not really
supported or whose functionality was overwritten by others.

One plus argument for knostalgy would be that maybe some people like the
old applications and would keep them living even if the common consensus
moves to a different one.

For example it is possible that some people like kpanel, kedit, good old
kmail, ktop etc.

                Lotzi
