I'll agree that it can be incredibly annoying for an application to let you no
longer see a message and then have no way to get it back.  Don't know how many
of you have tried VMWare, but they at least provided an option to "Show all
tips" which removed all of the "don't show me this again" flags for all of
their tips dialogs.  Was a nice touch as I could then get them back after
having forgotten what they were....
