For those authors working on E-mail programs:

kcmemail is available in a 1st iteration appearance in CVS under
kcontrol/email.  Please check it out and let me know what is missing for
what you need for BASIC functionality.  Advanced functionality that is not
likely to be common across e-mail clients or other programs needing this
information should be application-specific.

Of course, to read the info read 

KGlobal::dirs->findResource("config", "kcmemailrc");

probably with a KSimpleConfig.
