Yes, plain shlibs are bad, you loose the IDL interface and it makes distributed
objects impossible. The new solution provides both.

A buggy component running in a seperate process can easily take down the main
app, too. You can't try/catch every CORBA call.
Yes, debugging shared libs is not easy so we will have to write a good Howto
for this.
