I have been able to reproduce it, I have found some problems in KProcess but
I have not found the main problem yet. 

When I run konqueror from the command line I now get "No IOR from kded" and when
I run konqueror from gdb I get stuck in the select. I have changed kded not to 
fork and this doesn't solve the problem so I have to look a bit deeper.
