Please, PLEASE, don't commit things to the CVS HEAD if you're not sure
that at least they compile.

Yes, I understand *very well* that the HEAD in CVS is alpha quality. But
we're very nummerous trying to keep working on HEAD all the time, and
commiting uncompilable code doesn't do any good but increases *a lot* the
probability of duplicated work, CVS conflicts and so on.
