s/is the/was the. Nepomuk is very usable since few releases now, at least I
am going to cry (as a user) if you're gonna break my alt+f2 search.

But not the distros which have the biggest userbase for KDE? (I'm thinking
Kubuntu, OpenSUSE, Fedora-KDE)

If we are *absolutely sure* we won't break stuff for the user, go ahead.
But, lets not do a KDE 4.0 again, with Desktop Search.
