thanks, I was googling for some x11 or kde api, I guess I'll take a look at

but it seems rather weird to me that you want to watch the locker from

changes and displays the active layout, plus allows to switch it by pressin=

button, more than that it does not know where it's embedded in =97 it's the
kded keyboard daemon which listens to window changes and switches active
layout based on that.
