yes. that was a mistake.
the only way it can work, is to put the same maintainer there is now
in charge, (with the peoper ecosystem thatg ensure that everithing
doesn't depend from somebody changing hobby)
that by the way is one of the reasons this is probably not going to happen...

gain is, be taken seriously by somebody that wants to write a Qt application.
right now, depending from kdelibs is seen like an unforgivable defect.
i don't know if this would solve it.
but something has to be done
