no objections as long as someone also steps up as the module coordinator.
btw: a module is a logical grouping; a community; a way for packagers and users
to differentiate programmatic elements.
a module is not dependent on the underlying vcs, so I don't think the git discussion
in this thread is important in the discussion of whether or not to create this module.
