From KIO's perspective, there are two kinds of metadata, regular and internal. The internal ones are implicitly marked as such because the same mechanism is used to exchange both and some we needed a way to separate the two. There is no need to have any other kind of "internal" meta- data as far as I can tell... > Actually, would http: and https: share data?
