Hi :)

I'm writing you because of the Bespin Style.

It is causing us a considerable amount of really really bad publicity
for Amarok and angry users because of the crashes it causes and visual
issues it creates. Users are not aware those bugs are caused by the
style and blame Amarok for crashes we can't do anything about.
It causes slowdowns in Konversation.
It contains a lot of application specific hacks that break.
It seems to be using Xlib in a lot of places and therefore won't work
on some X servers.

Those are just some of the issues we experience.

Thomas: What are we going to do about them? It seems there are not
many people willing to touch the code so it seems it is left to you
unless someone here steps up to help. (Whoever helps gets cookies and
beer from the Amarok team!) How should we report those issues to you?

Everyone: Are you also experiencing issues caused by Bespin in your
program? Great ideas how to fix this all?
