Yes. I can confirm that from personal experience. And i hate it. I missed that 
one more than once and had to reboot my machine after resuming because by 
suspending i fall out of the vpn. And to get that working again i have to 
reboot.

So i am personally interested to get an solution that get's into my face. 
Thinking about beeing unobtrusive for a information like that is weird. Get 
into my face. Do flash, beep and do whatever is needed to get my attention. If 
i miss the dialog and the machine suspends 30 seconds later i will be much 
more confused/annoyed.
