And which doesn't work. Even if it doesn't steal focus you place the dialog on 
top of other windows and by that can be triggered accidentialy. Of course 
could happen with the notification as well, but the notification is not shown in 
an area where you expect new dialogs to be shown. Sorry dialogs just appearing 
out of nothing is the wrong thing to do.
