7-STABLE has both madvise and posix_madvise with the same signature:

int posix_madvise(void *addr, size_t len, int behav);

I imagine this is also true for 8-CURRENT (not released yet). The 6-LEGACY 
platform is not supported by the KDE-FreeBSD team. The fix looks ok from a 
FreeBSD and OpenSolaris perspective (it's good that hajma is filing bugs, so 
we finally start pushiing fixes into KDE SVN again from the OSOL repo).
