Hi all!
After talking with Matthias Kretz (kdemultimedia) i'm moving mplayerthumbs
(currently in playground/multimedia) in kdereview.
* (of course) can grab thumbnails from video files using mplayer
* customizable with a helper application (strips, cache cleaning, binary
path and arguments).
* can grab a random image instead of a fixed frame, with an algorithm
selecting the best one, allowing the image to be dynamic.

TODO list:
* clear design, allow more separation between thumbnail generation and video
manipulation.
* allow to use some other backends (xine, vlc, phonon?)
