Hello,

I need advice. Some time ago, a bug report arrived asking for support
for multipage images (like tiff) in Gwenview [1]. András Manţia had
already implemented this feature as it was requested by one of his
customers. He kindly provided the patch for Gwenview 1.4 (KDE3).

I believe it's not Gwenview job to show multipage documents, Okular is
much more qualified to do so. Still, the current situation is not
perfect: if a user opens a multipage tiff image with Gwenview, he will
only see the first page, with no indications that there is more.

Now it's decision time:
- Should support for multipage be implemented? (András offered to port
his patch to KDE4)
- Should we instead associate .tiff files to Okular?
- Should Gwenview simply show an indication that this is a multipart
document, suggesting to open it with Okular?

Aurélien
