Hi,

While I really like the idea I have some comments regarding it:

- IMHO the effect types don't reflect what it really means, what is a
Simple/Complex Animation Effect?
- If this setting is just related to the theme you are using, please
ignore the following:
  - If not, it is also related to other parts of kde (eg. kwin
effects), shouldn't it be in another place,
    or maybe kde4 should merge all "Appearance Settings" (Background,
kwin, style, colors,  fonts, ...) to only one place and have a global
page to set the common settings.
