Yep, my misunderstanding, I'd thought the KDEPrint manual mentioned pre- and 
post- filtering, but I've been doing more investigation and see this is not 
the case.  There's just so much to learn...

Any case, I'm thinking we need to keep this in 4.0, so need a KPrintDialog.
