There are systems beyond ELF-based Linux from < 1 year ago. They might not be
able to run KDE 4.x though.

No problems. Like I said I am not going to use it for libraries anymore, just 
a few apps and kcm modules.

I actually feel kindof bad about this :P Matt and Allen seemed to put a lot of 
time into checking out if it was okay to use with libs and then I found out 
that by spending a little more time porting I wouldn't need it.

My apologies about that, but I think we could all agree it's good to avoid any 
potential problems.
