Uhm, I have some doubts about those numbers.. After removing the .svn dirs and doing a simple tar (no compression) of=20 the svgs I get a file size of 158 Mb. If I run a gzip over each and every file and do the same tar (again, no=20 compression, just for total file size) I get a 35Mb tar. What this means to me is that if we do a gzip of each svg (and rename the=20 file to the proper compressed svg extention) we actually gain some 50%=20 diskspace compared to the pngs. Do note that du uses the disk block size, which is clearly wrong for at=20 least one filesystem that I know of. =2D-=20 Thomas Zander --nextPart1980967.afNeMoPJdd Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBGdRObCojCW6H2z/QRAj+bAJ9j6d11pxmNJShnC0vkBM5QaF8UIgCfVsji jczy1P1h5aztjDwQ9kJL094= =60AC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1980967.afNeMoPJdd--
