I couldn't agree more. I guessed at lock and log off.
The file type icons where so small that I had to look hard to distinguish 
which was a document and spreadsheet. Other than that I could figure them out 
quite well.
I did notice in 2 questions there were 2 or more icons that could be the exact 
same thing. Burning a CD (2 to choose from) and the Back button (3 to choose 
from). In these cases it felt like they were trying for a popularity contest 
to see which people liked better.
