Even larger bright areas can dazzle=20 them. As you never know why someone chose a particular combination of colors it=20 is best to avoid using foreground colors for a background and vice versa. Using a blending algorithm for generating additional background colors=20 sounds better, but I need to give some thoughts to whether it is a safe=20 solution (or whether there may be problems, too, in certain very special=20 situations). As to my understanding kde-core-devel is more suited for the technical=20 aspect of the topic I would like to move the discussion about which color=20 roles are exactly needed to the mailing list of the HCI workgroup=20 (kde-hci@kde.org).
