Hi,

to toss my two cents. Back on Qtopia[1,2] and Qt2 Trolltech did
normalize the signals and slots. They have used some weird
perl script. Maybe some Trolltech guy can find this script in their
depot and comment on meassured performance gains (I assume
they are properly archived).
