Where actually did anybody state that kviewshell can edit document content?
They talked about editing metadata, but even konqueror (the universal
*viewer*) supports editing metadata in a limited way -- think renaming
files/altering permissions.
Hence, kviewshell is a viewer with abilities that make it easier and more
powerful to use. I don't see it as a usability crime to provide the user with
a list of pages to check for printing as the user is skimming through them
instead of having to remember or jotting down the page ranges he wants to
print, only to enter the page range into the print-dialog afterwards.
Second, providing improvements that enable proficient users to get their work
done cannot lead to rule out those applications for default inclusion only
because the "you are your user users" won't make any use of those
improvements.
