It's not a matter of linking, it's matter of allowing modification and=20 redistribution (also of a modified version) Another area where this can lead to problems is documentation, since the GN= U=20 =46DL allows unmodifyable sections. If I remember correctly KDE's documenta= tion=20 contains a special clause that it is GFDL but does not contain such section= s. I think the main reason why this is important for Debian is that quite some= =20 portion of their users are also distributors (Ubuntu, Xandros, etc, or cust= om=20 distributions like Munich's LiMux) Cheers, Kevin =2D-=20 Kevin Krammer, KDE developer, xdg-utils developer KDE user support, developer mentoring --nextPart1362641.SOFl4RhLBK Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBFPeCAnKMhG6pzZJIRAnuDAJ4gTjlYqoJBmaQct/4IqdQRhATblwCeIlRu 28yqjFqBNwGozILbiLhxrHI= =tx/t -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1362641.SOFl4RhLBK--
