Clearable combobox?  Or clearable date-time edit?

Sounds wicked, but I'm not sure what real-world use it will have.
Both have better ways of filling the field with valid data.

Remember, the goal was to more easily fill the textfield with valid data, 
NOT to empty the textfield.  Thats just one step that has to be 
accomplished to reach the goal. And one thats only valid for textfields.
