you're missing the point here, which is that the first 20+ people whom work on
kdelibs code (many of whom do so a lot more than anyone else in the project)
all thought it was a good idea. if that many key stakeholders in the code
felt it was a good idea, that likely means it's not a bad idea. let's not
turn this into a "phear the cabal" discussion as that's neither relevant here
nor productive.
