Can services be installed being non-administrator on win*? If not, deployment of KDE applications will be severely hindered. Consider the simple use case of a corporate web developer who badly wants to use Quanta because Fontgape doesn't cut it. He isn't local admin, because he doesn't need it for his kind of work. Now if installing Quanta/win* (and its dependence chain) required admin permissions at some point, less grassroots deployment of KDE software will take place, making it less known to the win*-user base. mfg Leo
