FWIW, Katepart supports 'find' and 'replace' in the built in command line,
with optional config flags in the form of a colon followed by single letters,
eg. 'find:rc PATTERN' will search from the cursor (c) for the regex (r)
PATTERN. (You can see all options if you enter 'help find' in the command
line, which should show at the bottom of the editor area if you press F7 btw)
