Hi all,

for the windows port there is the situation, that dcopserver currently
is limited to one connection, which is very anoying and retarts further
development. Also there are some people willing to spend time to fix
this issues.

For KDE4 is was announced to to use dbus and I have seen some activities
in http://websvn.kde.org/branches/work/kde4/playground/libs/qt-dbus/
and very long time ago activities in
http://websvn.kde.org/branches/work/dbus-kde4/ but there is no indicator
how far it is from a usable version.

If in the next 4-8 weeks a stable implementation of dbus will be there,
it would be wasted time to fix the dcopserver issues, if it needs longer
it would make sense to fix this issues. Is anyone there who can give a
solid forecast ?

Regards

Ralf
