yes. i actually had a patch on one of my systems a year or two ago that cac=
hed=20
entries from these files based on mimetype, so there was a tree (to make it=
=20
easy to support globs like image/*) of mimetypes in memory which was=20
populated on the first konqpopupmenu creation. i forget why i never committ=
ed=20
it.. hrm... in any case, IIRC this did result in more snappy menus =3D)
