Having a cache per prefix is more efficient, they will need to be regenerated 
less often, and only the parts that actually have been modified will need to 
be regenerated. It's also more efficient in a multi-user setup where you 
don't need to duplicate the same information as often.

It will also make kdesu and the first login faster.
