I verified the code (by stepping through) and couldn't see anything 
really suspect there. But it makes hard for me to find the bug as I 
cannot reproduce anymore on this computer.
If you can still reproduce the hang, please try to remove the 
kapp->processEvent call in quanta/project/projectprivate.cpp, line 1219.
Otherwise I'm out of ideas, unless you are good enough to reproduce and 
catch the bug. ;-)
