As an aside to that, there are efforts from 'the other side' to bridge the gap 
somewhat, too - like gtk-qt-engine. But in general, I'd agree - if there are 
platform-specific deficiencies in the standard KDE dialogs, like open/save 
file or printing, fix those and stick with them on every platform.
