Not so much showing the Konqueror bookmarks, but bookmarks *into* the file= =20 system, especially on remote shares, make an enormous amount of sense to me= =2E =20 I have to deal with SMB url's like=20 "//SERVER/SHARE/Ny Mapp (2)/M=E4rknadsf=F6ring/Bilder/originellt/2005-05-25= /milj=F6=20 bild/gr=F6n/" or "//SERVER/SHARE/Media/pdfer/ny pdfer/att maila/hemmet/rek= lam=20 f=F6r juni.PDF" A lot of them are either fairly short lived, or apparently randomly named b= y=20 whoever made them, or sometimes both (I sometimes find things that were mea= nt=20 to be short lived, but were so randomly named, they're still there 5 years= =20 later.) You better believe I bookmark them. I'd never find them again otherwise. =20 I presume I am not the only person doomed to suffer a fate of working with= =20 insane people who name things strangely and have enormous file servers and = so=20 are never motivated to clean things up. Which leads me to believe that=20 anyone dealing with very long paths on very big file servers, will find=20 bookmarks useful for things that you have to look at reasonable often, or a= t=20 least, more than once, but not enough to warrant a full mount, or clutterin= g=20 up remote:/ with. In any case, bookmarks I can organise by project, by=20 projected longevity, by who put stuff in them, mounts and remote:/ url's I= =20 can't.=20 Regards, =2D-=20 Lauri Watts KDE Documentation: http://docs.kde.org KDE on FreeBSD: http://freebsd.kde.org --nextPart7068910.12DtrjJGig Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBCvyZs/gUyA7PWnacRAulNAJwNMh8cZ1/ywfzXM6FSpWjkgR2qlwCfVfcc c6+8altxQL8WbFq95VLmv5A= =7n6h -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart7068910.12DtrjJGig--
