It's one of the point, but not the most important. It's also a restricted view 
of all the home directory in the system (I know some systems where they are 
spread in home subdirs... not really convenient for users). home:/ lists all 
the home directories of the users

I don't think so... I think that remote:/ is overcrowded already, it was meant 
to be simple and now we have already several entries in it. I don't see the 
point of accessing bookmarks in a filesystem tree, it's normally tied to the 
web browser use, but maybe I'm missing some use cases.
