 Ironic that you plan to make it possible to place applets on the desktop and 
write them in Python and whatnot and you don't dare to make them take up only 
as little space as systray icons :). Besides, kmixapplet here actually takes 
about as much space as a systray icon, and it shows two channels, which is 
two more than the systray icon.
