I've tried the following:
svn co https://wijnhout@svn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/kdelibs
and got (after a long wait, downloading 246Mb takes a while):

Fetching external item into 'kdelibs/admin'
svn: 'kdelibs/admin' is already a file/something else

In the kdelibs directory there is a file "admin" that contains:
link ../kde-common/admin
