Why not remove the obsolete one ?

Is it enough to have the following lines in the old one
(removing all the translated comment fields) ?

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Type=MimeType
MimeType=application/x-msmetafile
X-KDE-IsAlso=image/x-wmf

Is there somewhere a description of the required/optional fields and their
meaning (others than desktop-entry-spec, e.g. where X-KDE-IsAlso is
explained) ?

       Some operating systems are called 'user friendly',
             Linux however is 'expert friendly'.
