And you worry about updating the $CVS client once in a decad= e? Well, as Qt is part of KDE, updating it in order for KDE's progress is=20 inevitable. Yet KDE development should not force updating of development=20 tools/requirements more than necessary. CVS is simply mature, does not undergo significant changes, and can simply = be=20 relied upon. SVN is still in flux and will change frequently. Oh, I already= =20 anticipate recurring statements like, "KDE rep doesnt work with svn 1.x=20 anymore, use 1.x+10 instead". So you will be forced to update svn *often*,= =20 much more often than once in a decade. Why dont we wait until SVN reaches a mature state like cvs, and switch then? > [...] mfg Leo PS: Hmm, will cervisia work with svn? --nextPart1199382.8bMhMjqK3r Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBBaUekj5jssenUYTsRAgEGAKC9ueBwfAHqp7jtSoXw0IMez5f+RACaAi85 bFun8Bt/8P1Ue15DH9aOQoA= =iav1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1199382.8bMhMjqK3r--
