At least the KExtendedSocket API needs much of a revamp, and Thiago is already
working on that. We could perhaps provide compatibility wrappers, but those
are exactly the thing I'm not too happy with, they are the kind of baggage
that ultimately almost always will hurt.
Furthermore like I already mentioned everything marked 'deprecated' should go.
Third, KMainWindow's refcounting has already hurt KMail and Kopete amongst
other apps, this could use some closer looks.
Most other things I can think of can be done BC, so not necessarily for KDE 4,
but later. I'm sure other people have other problems though.
