I was working at that time with files generated by high resolution medical scanners, so I thought it would be nice if KDE applications could open the mammographies I was trying to analyze. I'm no longer working with those files nor know of anyone that has used it in the meantime, so I suppose it's ok to remove the support to open krl files (Sigh! :( ).
