Whenever kdeinit is startet, it stops with using 99% CPU and when you attach the process via gdb the bt is at QRegExpEngine::startAtom(). Bigger Qt applications like designer or assistant stops somewhere in QBoxLayout::setupGeom. Can't really nobody reproduce this behaviour?
