Warnings, not errors, warnings.

According to the gcc manpage, -pedantic-errors (see subject) turns warnings 
demanded by ANSI into errors, causing the compiler to reject valid code.

You may wish to configure gcc to be incorrect, but that's no reason to have 
all of KDE operate that way.
