If I remember a previous discussion correctly KAutoConfig doesn't address
accessing config information from the C++ code of the application, but
providing a GUI to the user for editing config information. One conclusion of
the discussion was that it wouldn't be a problem to adapt KAutoConfig to
access the information, e.g. about default values, from KPrefs.
